Bears are Coming Out of Hibernation
It is that time in Canada's Rockies. Bears are beginning to come out of Hibernation and will be encountered very shortly, especially with this Year's warmer weather. The first to emerge will be the larger healthy Males/Boars, followed by adolescent Bears and Females, and finally, Sows with Cubs of the Year. Please refresh your "Bear Aware" knowledge when hiking or sightseeing in Canada's Rockies.
