After a really comfortable drive with the morning coach bus from Hanoi we arrive in the early afternoon in Sapa. Such a colorful town thanks to the H’mong and Dzao people from the local hill tribes who head into the town’s market every day to trade their produce. The region as also known as “the Tonkinese Alps”, Sapa is just a lovely hill station town in Northern Vietnam near the Chinese border.

Enjoy a very warm welcome from our local (Hmong or Red Dzao) tour guide who will guide you through this stunning piece of Vietnam. From the lush terraced rice paddies to the rustic charm of the native dwellings, Sapa is a place you’re sure to fall in love with! Many diverse groups like the Dzay, Dzao, Tay, Xa Pho or Hmong populate this richly cultural northern territory.

Itinerary

Day 1: Sapa – Fansipan by Cable Car (L, D)

Stop At: Fansipan Mountain, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
06:30 till 07:00AM: Pick up at your hotel or at the meeting point and then start departure to Sapa, following Noi Bai – Lao Cai high-way.

Along the way, you will have chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains that terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have a short break for 30 minutes then continue the trip to Sapa.

13h00: Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel and have lunch.

Afternoon: after Lunch,around 14:00pm, our local guide pick you up at your hotel and driver then transferred towards the cable car to visit the Fansipan mountain. As you know the cable car in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get cable car back to Sapa.

Finish tour, come back hotel.

Evening: After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Overnight at hotel in Sa Pa

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)

Stop At: Sapa Market, Dien Bien Phu Road, Sapa Vietnam
08h00: After breakfast, Check out hotel. You leave the hotel and start trekking. The first part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong – Lao Chai Village . Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing.

You have lunch at Lao Chai Village.

After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green color. The Zay houses are build of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. You stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van and have our dinner here.

Day 3: Giang Ta Chai villages – Sapa – Hanoi (B/ L/-)

Stop At: Sapa Market, Dien Bien Phu Road, Sapa Vietnam
Rise and shine…Enjoy our breakfast at our homestay today we start early at 8 AM.

After breakfast, we start the day with an easy trek of 5 km to visit villages of the H’mong ). The trekking will take you along local paths, up and down rice terraces and into the villages and home of local hill tribes. Enjoy a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge with picturesque landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa.

2h00 PM:The bus will pick you up from Ta Van village to Sapa Town.

Enjoy your free time in Sapa for refreshment.

Around 3:00 PM as our driver is waiting you for you short drive to Sapa town, where our staff prepared a take away sandwich for on the way to Hanoi.

21h30: We arrive in Ha Noi.
