Saigon Vegan Food Tour

Hi, I'm Spring!

Together with my boyfriend Hiếu (pronounce almost like Hugh), we will privately guide you through a delicious exploration of Việt vegan cuisine.

For 4 years, we've been deeply inspired by the plant-based diet introduced to us by our Yoga teacher Sadhguru.

We're also passionate about using food as a medium to teach people about our culture and history through stories from a Saigonese perspective.

Since 2017, we've spent a lot of times developed connections to make this become a one of a kind experience for vegan travellers coming to Sài Gòn!

Our tour is top rated on Airbnb in 2019 but we're always finding new ways to improve and make it more unique!

We carefully curated for vegans guests but even hardcore carnivores also find this enjoyable & worth their while :)

If you don't have time for our tour, just hit us up anyway to get our very best recommendations & a few time-tested Vegan insider tips.

It’s a cross between a salad and a noodle dish, so you get the best of both worlds. Dig in but don’t get too filled up yet, we’re just getting started!
---------------------

CƠM TẤM CHAY - BROKEN RICE

The vegan version of Com Tam consists of tasty slices of soy sausages marinated in a special vegan sauce on a bed of steamy broken rice toppen with deep fried shallots and spring onions.

This dish is a staple on on many Vietnamese tables, it’ll be a pity to give it a miss!

We’ll finish off the first part of the food adventure with something light and fresh.

---------------------

BÁNH GIÒ CHAY - PYRAMID DUMPLING

Bánh giò is a originally a most comsumming steamed street snack from Northern Vietnam.

It’s a small, savory snack great any time of the day, the Vegan version is made with a rice & tapioca flour outer layer, ground soy beans and pepper, mushrooms, shallots and onion filling and all with a special aroma from a banana leaf wrapper.
---------------------

TRÀ LÀI - JESMINE TEA

Vietnamese tea drinking is simpler than the Chinese or Japanese customs, but it bears the essence of Vietnamese culture. The yellow and green of the tea and the natural scent of flowers symbolise the country, rich in culture and natural resources.
