With Ka Pe’ a (meaning Southern Cross in Hawaiian), we want you to keep the fish that you catch. Every trip is customized for maximum fish-catching enjoyment. By combining local knowledge with dedication and the best gear in the business, we keep our customers on fish.

When you come aboard Ka Pe’ a, you’ll realize why we catch so many fish. We have green stick at our disposal, pinch pullers for bottom fishing, long line for longer Sea Mountain outings, (if and when needed), and all kinds of stand-up top line reels. If you want light tackle to maximize your fishing experience, we have that too in Shimano 50 reels.

For for those wanting a 100 pounds of fish and sore arms, this is the trip to take. Everything is included as well, from the tackle, ice, and two meals a day. We have wine and beer on board and pupus to your heart content.

Itinerary

In order to leave on time, we ask that you arrive at Slip 18 at the Honokahau Harbor at least 20 minutes prior to the departure. Slip 18 is right next to the main boat launch at the harbor. Look for our Ka Pe'a sign, where there is ample parking. There you will be greeted with our Captain Lincoln Ahlo and crew. We will assist you with boarding and loading all personal belongings. There is ample parking at the harbor.
