Stop At: Rainbow Falls, Waianuenue Avenue, Hilo, Island of Hawaii, HI 96720

It is 80 ft (24 m) tall and almost 100 ft (30 m) in diameter. The falls are part of the Hawai'i State Parks. At Rainbow (Waiānuenue) Falls, the Wailuku River rushes into a large pool below. The gorge is blanketed by lush, dense nonnative tropical rainforest and the turquoise colored pool is bordered by beautiful, although nonnative, wild ginger. Monstera is also in abundance.

Pass By: Saddle Road, Hawaii Highway 200, Kailua-Kona, Island of Hawaii, HI

The road was once considered one of the most dangerous paved roads in the state, with many one-lane bridges and areas of marginally maintained pavement. Most of the road has now been repaved, and major parts have new re-alignments to modern standards. Recently rebuilt, the road is one of the safest roads on big island with spectacular view of the Maunakea and Mauna Loa on each side of the roada.

Stop At: Punalu'u Black Sand beach, Highway 11, Pahala, Island of Hawaii, HI 96777

The beach has black sand made of basalt and created by lava flowing into the ocean which explodes as it reaches the ocean and cools. Frequented by green turtles, which can often be seen basking on the black rocks or blacksand. Depending on local conditions we will Make a stpp at Richardson Blacksand Beach whis is also home to Green Sea Turtles.

Stop At: Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm and Factory, 16-701 Macadamia Rd, Hilo, Island of Hawaii, HI 96749-8020

The world's largest processor of macadamia seeds. We stop here to taste over a dozens of candies made with macadamia nuts grown on the Big Island. Free self tour of the factory is availabel on site. The company takes its name from the volcano Mauna Loa.

House to over 200 varieties of orchids. Akatsuka Orchid Nursery prides itself of producing one of the rarest species of orchids in the world which has value of 10's of thousands of dollars. Family owned business, so they do close without notice. If they do close, it is out of our control.

Located inside the Volcanoes National Park. when the moisture hits the red molten lava under ground, it changes it's form into steam and vents out of the holes in the ground.
