Our Scottish Highland private bike tour is the ideal day out for groups of cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who really want to get out into nature and be at one with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Your friendly and experienced guide will take you along the route of a disused railway, through the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. An area known for its mountains, lochs and ancient forest. Its hard not to be inspired by some of the most stunning Highland landscapes in the country. No wonder why this is considered to be one of the most scenic cycle routes in Scotland.

Transfers from Edinburgh accommodation are included in cost. Pick up between 08:30 and 9:00 depending on size of group. Please bring money for lunch stop.

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park FK8 3UX Scotland

Cycling approximately 18 miles (30kms) through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Balquhidder Church Ruins, Two miles past Auchtubh, Balquhidder, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Scotland

The peace and tranquility of Balquhidder Glen an experience to remember. This is also the resting place of Rob Roy, the famous Scottish outlaw. We take an optional 30 minute walk to a popular view point and Highland clan rallying place, for fantastic views across Loch Voil and mountains beyond.

Stop At: Doune Castle, Castle Hill, Doune, Stirling FK16 6EA Scotland

We take a brief refreshment stop on route to our destination at this iconic castle, which has been used as a backdrop to certain Monty Python film as well as an internationally acclaimed tv drama.
