Itinerary

Hi I work out of my quirky onsite pottery studio Jackie Barber Ceramics at "Brynifor" set in the grounds of our 2 acre Cosy Quiet Welsh Cottage.

I set up the pottery 7 years ago after working in a local pottery for many years.

I have a B.A in Art Design and Aesthetics. I love working with clay and make colourful contemporary earthenware tableware. My background in textiles design gave me a love of bright colours, mark making, and liking of florals which inspires me to create my finished pots.

I also love being able to share and pass on skills that I have learnt having fun and working with clay.

On arrival which will usually be an afternoon you will be made to feel very welcome,relaxed and ready to have some fun. I will give you a quick tour of the studio and explain how I make,

design,decorate and fire my pots.

I will then give a short demo on throwing clay on the wheel and Ta Dah!!! Away you go...
