Next, a bar that's also a historic landmark.

Finally, we will have a couple of "wild card" stop that will be tailored to that particular night.

By the end of our circuit, you'll have received an introduction to navigating Manchester's Gay Village and will have sampled a small slice of the myriad of gay male subcultures within the larger, beautifully diverse LGBTQ+ family.

Our first stop will be a popular gay bar featured on Queer as folk.

Finally, we will have a couple of "wild card" stop that will be tailored to that particular night.

Stop At: Sackville Gardens - Canal Street, Sackville Gardens, Manchester England

We'll start in my apartment with introductions—to each other and to the history of both Manchester and more in particular gay history, canal street and gay bars.

We'll also play a lighthearted game to discover what gay "tribe" we each belong to—bear, twink, or jock, etc—while learning about subcultures among gay men. We can play some other interactive games to break the ice while listening some of the most important tunes from Manchester Bands.

Then we'll apply what we've learned by visiting four of my favorite Gay village bars that each showcase different scenes.
