Alpaca Trekking and Scottish Scenery

This is a unique experience for all ages. Getting some one on one time with an Alpaca can be really calming but also exciting! The views you will get to see on the trek are wonderful. This experience is for private groups and will run even for just one person. We are different from others as we do not have multiple groups trekking at the same time - giving you a more personal experience!

Itinerary

On arrival you will be greeted by myself, Linsay. I will take you over to the Alpaca pen where your fabulous experience will begin. I have three adorable little boys named Eric, Toby and Sid who you will be introduced to.
Alpacas are naturally very inquisitive animals and so you will hand feed the boys to allow them to come up nice and close to get to know you a little better before their walk.
I will show you how I handle the Alpacas and put their halters on ready for the walk.
You will then be assigned an Alpaca to walk with and your adventure together will begin. We will have a gentle, slow paced walk and you can experience the calming effect that walking with an Alpaca can have. There will be lots of photo opportunities along the way.
After the walk we will take the Alpacas back to their pen where you will get to feel their amazingly soft wool and pose with them for some selfies!
