Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe

Depending on the time of your flight, the company representative will pick you inside the Airport at Arrivals with a placard and will handle your luggage up to the parking. Here you will be greeted with a hot / cold hand towel, a bottle of cold / room temperature drinking water and mints before transferring to the Hotel.

Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

With an early breakfast, transfer with the guide to Bwindi Forest via Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale with a lunch stopover at the Equator. After which continue to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, an ecological island within a sea of human cultivation and is of immense conservation importance.

• Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner 

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking

With packed lunch continue to the forest gorilla tracking after the briefing by the rangers. The time taken and the terrain vary as per the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending 1 hour only observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.  The tracking can take place at Nkuringo or at Rushaga depending on the gorilla permits obtained.

 Day 4: Nombe & Buniga Forests (encounter with the Batwa)

Transfer to Nombe Pocket Forest Walk. Enjoy birding and a picnic lunch in the beautiful forest that used to be part of Bwindi but was later given to the local community.

Later Batwa Pygmies; also known as “people of the forest as they act out their life in the forest through traditional drama and dance.

Day 5: Bwindi Forest to Entebbe International Airport

Transfer from Bwindi Forest via Kabale, Mbarara, Masaka to Entebbe. On arrival continue to the Airport for departure .
