Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This 3-day gorilla trekking safari from Kampala lets you experience Uganda’s undisturbed wilderness. In addition to hiking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of gorillas in the wild, this tour will take you to the country side where you'll see the locals in their day to day lives, the scenery, vast plantations, the equator and more. Food, lodging, gorilla tracking permit and transportation are all included so you don’t need to make any extra bookings.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Stop At: Western Region, Western Region
Leave Kampala early in the morning, driving south west past several swamps, numerous rolling hills having lunch en route at Igongo cultural center, after lunch you will embark on the journey to the park, where you will arrive in the evening.
Check in for dinner and prepare for the day that waits tomorrow with an overnight stay at:

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking!

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Wake up early enough like at 6:00am for breakfast and then proceed to the gorilla trek briefing point, to be briefed about the safety guidelines and be allocated guides and groups for tracking gorillas. Setting off is at exactly 8:00am.
You will then set off for one of the most extra ordinary, astonishingly beautiful activities that you will ever enjoy, this activity may go for a few hours depending on the location of the gorillas where they would have been cited by the game rangers the previous night, when you finally meet with these creatures that are closely related to man, you will be given an hour to watch them as they play and feed.
You will then return to the lodge, where one may choose to relax the rest of the evening, or have an optional guided Community walk in the Batwa and Bakiga neighboring Communities.
The Batwa is one of the indigenous groups of people that live in the forests and are on the verge of extinction. Spending an evening with them would be rewarding as you will learn a lot from them.
You will then have dinner and an Overnight stay at;

Day 3: Departure-Equator stopover and transfer to Kampala

Stop At: Kampala, Uganda
After Breakfast at 8:00am, you will check out driving North West to Mbarara where you will have an en-route Lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara District. Thereafter, proceed to the Equator in Kayabwe Mpigi. Here, you will take pictures and then visit the crafts shops thereafter precede to Kampala.
