Stop At: Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre, Plot 56/7 Lugard Avenue, Entebbe Uganda

Established in 1952 with a major aim of rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife. It is a collection of over 400 indigenous wild animals, 500 plant species and over 250 bird species.

Chimpanzees
Warthogs
Lions & many more including birds like the endemic shoebill & reptiles.

The wetland is located on the edge of Lake Victoria, north west of the Entebbe Peninsular, with protected bird species to include the endemic shoebill stork with over 260 bird species to include:

•Black kite
•Papyrus canary
•Papyrus gonolek
•Blue swallow
•White-winged warbler
•Goliath heron
•Malachite kingfisher
•Gull-billed terns
•Winding cisticola
•Veillot’s black weaver
•Grosbeak weaver

This Eco-zone was established in 1898 protecting a variety of tree species which have been in existence for many years.
You will enjoy the fresh air, see birds & get to the cliff for exciting views of the Entebbe peninsular.

This Community-Based Organisation was established in 2003 with an aim of educating the local community about the importance of Eco-tourism. Protecting over 20 reptile species with a total of over 50 reptiles, including;

•Crocodiles
