The 3 days Queen Elizabeth National park takes you to uganda’s second largest national park with great views of wildlife and bird species. The major activities include game drives giving you spectacular views of herds of elephants, uganda kobs, warthogs, leopard, African lion, and Buffalos among others. A launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel exposes you to 611 bird species, huge Nile crocodiles and hundreds of Hippos.

Day 1: Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Katwe local mines.

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and visit Katwe salt mines
Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the early morning, you will be picked up from either your hotel/airport and transfer to queen Elizabeth national park. The whole journey will take you approximately 6 hours having a stop over at the equator for photography and short break. You will reach the lodge in the afternoon, rest and visit the katwe salt mines in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge/Katara Lodge/Enganzi Lodge.

Day 2: Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise

Uganda safaris
Wake up in the early morning and go for game drives in the open savannah grasslands. Game drives provide you with a clear view of various animals such as herds of elephants, buffalos, elands, antelopes, warthogs, waterbucks, topis, leopards and lions among others. Go for late breakfast and wait for a hot lunch at the lodge as you relax. At 2:00pm, you will transfer to kazinga channel for launch cruise that connect lakes Edward and George. The launch cruise provide you with spectacular views of bird species and water animals. Dinner and overnight at the lodge (Day 1).

Day 3: Day 3: Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking – Departure

Stop At: Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge), Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda
Day 3: Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking – Departure
Chimpanzee trekking
After the morning breakfast, transfer to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee trekking and then drive back to the lodge for lunch. Later, transfer back to Kampala for a connecting flight.
