This 3 day Uganda wildlife safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It's Uganda’s second largest national park, with Close to 100 species of mammals and about 606 types of birds dwelling within. Serried ranges of hippos, crocodiles, African elephants, tree-climbing lions among others will fulfill your African safari dream. This park also has spectacular sceneries including Crater Lakes and rolling savannah plains overlooking the snowcapped Ruwenzori Mountain ranges. You will enjoy game drives, a boat cruise and nature walks.

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick-up, City Tour, Equator and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Stop At: Kampala City Tours, Kampala - Entebbe Rd, Kampala, Uganda
After your meet and greet with your driver guide at the Airport/Hotel/Apartment, you’ll go on a city tour of Uganda’s capital Kampala visiting various sites and attractions including the ever busy Nakasero Market, the Independence Monument, the grand Gadhafi Mosque, and the Uganda museum.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
Depart Kampala for Queen Elizabeth National Park, making a stopover for a water experiment at the Equator, a line that divides the world into two hemispheres. The water experiment made will explain this fact and you'll have an opportunity to take pictures while there.
You'll proceed alittle further andmake another stopover at Igongo Cultural center for lunch.

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
Proceed to the Park arriving in the evening. Enjoy an evening game drive as you head to your accommodation; check in, freshen up and enjoy a dinner at the lodge and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive, Launch Trip

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
After an early breakfast in the early morning, head out for a morning Game drive. During this expedition expect to encounter with animals such as the Buffaloes, Antelopes, Elephants, Warthogs, and Baboons, among others, and if lucky, lions and leopards too.
Return to the lodge and relax as you wait for lunch.
After lunch, you will drive to the heart of the park at Mweya peninsular where you will set off for a launch trip on the Kazinga channel where Lakes Edward and Gorge meet. This is yet another fascinating adventure that one should not dare to miss out on the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
For the birders, this Launch trip offers a great chance to see a wide range of bird species such as the Martial Eagle, Black Ramped Fly catcher, African skimmer, African Broadbill, Verreaux’s Eagle Owl among others.
It is also at the beautiful Kazinga Channel where you will see serried ranges of hippos, and crocodiles at the shoreline together with numerous wildlife species coming down to bathe and drink some water and the mighty Elephants lingering around.
Return to the lodge and freshen up, relax and wait for dinner at the lodge and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Kasenyi Fishing Village-Transfer to Kampala

Stop At: Kasenyi, Uganda
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, check out and head to Kasenyi Fishing Village and thereafter proceed to depart the park while enjoying yet another game drive.
Make a lunch stopover at a selected a restaurant, and proceed to Kampala and consequently Entebbe for a visit to UWEC.
Proceed to the Airport for OUTBOUND Flight/Hotel/Apartment
