3 Day Gorilla Experience

This is a trip for guests who have been in other neighboring countries like Kenya and Tanzania, and desire to pass by in Uganda briefly to visit the Mountain Gorillas. It is also suited for those having only a weekend of three days. Meeting with the Gorillas is an experience one can never forget. The experience involves finding out how such a big wild animal can be tamed to get used to humans, and do them no harm.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
The journey to Bwindi from Kampala is around 8-10 hours drive. You will capture the scenery of the place in the last 3 hours of the today's journey. Short breaks are provided on the way for pictures and also for lunch.
Duration: 10 hours

Day 2: Gorilla Experience Day

Stop At: Bwindi Inpenetrable Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda
After breakfast, you will have briefing from a ranger, who will give you more information about gorillas and their behavior. He/she will also tell you how to behave when with these animals. Thereafter the walking journey to the Gorillas will begin. The whole day is dedicated for this experience. After a successful gorilla tracking experience, you will awarded with a 'souvenir' from Uganda Wild Authority showing how you were involved in supporting the protection of these animals.

Day 3: Bwindi - Kampala

Stop At: Igongo Cultural Centre, 16 Km Mbarara-Masaka Road, Mbarara Uganda
After breakfast, you head back to Kampala, saying farewell to the Gorillas and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. A stop over is made on the way for Lunch.
