2-Day Getaway for Couples on a Private Sailboat -- USVI / BVI

This is a unique opportunity for a couple (and child up to 12) to enjoy a private 2-day sailboat charter. Completely relax and recharge, without any rush!

When you book a private charter, why should you be on someone else's schedule? Join us on MAHALA and we'll design the voyage around you. No one telling you when to get in or out of the water, what to do, or when to do it. Just you two, being you!

A leisurely sail in the channel, or a ripping good run on the open ocean?
A shallow reef in a placid bay, or the "wall" snorkel at Congo Cay?
Sleep in the sun on the beach, or sleep in the sun on deck?
Lunch on board, or at the beach bar?
More snorkeling, or more beverages?
Yes to all of that? It's your call!

Itinerary

We’ll meet in Red Hook and be underway around 9am aboard MAHALA, a classic 44’ Irwin Staysail Ketch. There's a lot to do and see around the reefs and beaches of the USVI & BVI, so no two trips are the same. Based on local wind and seas, most of our guests like to snorkel and look for turtles in the morning, then lunch on board while we sail to Jost Van Dyke (or St. John).

Once there, explore the shops on the beach, bask in the sun, and visit world-famous Foxy's, and The Soggy Dollar Bar. After dinner, get rocked to sleep in a comfortable berth onboard, with a private bathroom.

Spend the next day learning to sail, exploring vibrant reefs, walking the white beaches, or just relaxing on your own boat, being you! A full 2 days allows plenty of time to unplug and recharge

We provide the snorkeling equipment and vests for you, but remember that this is a "bareboat charter" -- bring your own snacks, food and drinks for the trip. We have a full galley with refrigerator and freezer on board, and a cooler available for ice.

At some point we’ll sail back to the marina on St. Thomas, and then like it or not, say good-bye in Red Hook around 4pm.
