Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Tarangire national park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Travel to Tarangire National Park. This park is located about 1.5 hours from Arusha town. You will go for a long game drive and take packed lunch at a picnic site inside Tarangire. After exiting the park, you will head to Mto wa Mbu town located about 45 minutes drive north and lodge at Jambo campsite.

Day 2: Explore Lake Manyara national park

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Game drive at Manyara National Park. Early in the morning you will go for a game drive at the hippo pool and around lake Manyara all the way to Maji moto geothermal hot water springs. You will have lunch at a picnic site inside Manyara and at late afternoon, you will travel to Karatu town located about 1.5 hours drive north and lodge at a campsite adjacent to Ngorongoro Conservation area.

Day 3: Descend into the majestic Ngorongoro crater

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Descend down the Ngorongoro Crater. You will enter Ngorongoro gate early in the morning and descend 600 meters down the crater for a 4 hour game drive. You will have lunch at Ngoitoktok springs inside the crater. You are expected to exit the crater to travel about 2 – 3 hours to Serengeti national park to Nguchiro campsite for your dinner and rest.

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
You will proceed to Ngurchiro campsite late in the afternoon after exitng Ngorongoro through Naabi gate for dinner and rest.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 4: Game drive inside Serengeti national park

Stop At: Seronera, Serengeti National Park 0000 Tanzania
Game drive on the endless plains of Serengeti. This is a prime wildlife zone, with a world class wildlife viewing spectacle. You will go for an early game drive around Seronera, rest for lunch and continue for a game drive until evening, to return to the campsite.

Day 5: Game drives to Moru kopjes inside the legendary Serengeti

Stop At: Mara River, Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Game drive inside the Serengeti. You will continue with you game drive inside the majestic Serengeti, expanding your scope as far as Moro Kopjes and the mara river and rest back at the campsite in the evening.

Day 6: Tour of the endless plains

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Game drive inside the Serengeti. You will continue with you game drive inside the majestic Serengeti, expanding your scope as far as Ndutu and the wildebeest migration routes and rest back at the campsite in the evening.

Day 7: Exit Serengeti and rest at Mto wa Mbu, in Manyara

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Game drive inside Serengeti. You will continue your game drive early in the morning until lunch time at a picnic site and traverse the kopjes and endless plains to exit the park late in the afternoon to travel about 3.5 hours to Jambo campsite double deluxe rooms at Mto wa mbu.

Day 8: Fantastic Maasai cultural tour and transfer back to Arusha town.

Stop At: Mto wa Mbu, Mto wa Mbu, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Visit Emanyatta Maasai village and travel to Arusha town. After checkout, you will travel 30-40 minutes to a cultural Maasai boma near Makuyuni at Emanyatta for a cultural experience through wearing Maasai clothes, dancing and other cultural activities. You will continue your travel back to Arusha town about 2 hours drive on a tarred road.
