This tour program will enable you to visit the very best attractive wildlife sites in northern Tanzania circuit of Serengeti - famous for its annual Great Wildebeest Migration, as well Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and L. Manyara.

Serengeti National Park, well known as “endless plain”, is the oldest and most famous national park in Tanzania, and possibly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. Its vast plains are home to predator and prey, vying for grasslands and the last watering holes as the dry season progresses. Between December and May, millions of mammals migrate across the plains, and the interaction between species is awesomely entertaining

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park, 2 hour driving!

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Have a game drive in Tarangire national park, overnight in Karatu lift valley escapement town.

Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania circuit. It is most famous for its ‘elephant migration’, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. In Tarangire you also see good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson's gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah. You might enjoy your picnic lunch at one of the park's picnic areas and take in an unparalleled view of the Tarangire River.

Day 2: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park enroute game drive.

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area entry point for registration formalities then drive en route to Serengeti national park for afternoon game drive, overnight in Central Serengeti in Osupuko Tented Lodge, in full board (BLD).

Today before getting into Serengeti you will spend most of the time driving in Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) of large expanses of savannah, rain forest and bush land. Ngorongoro Conservation Area measuring 8,300 square kilometer declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979, is the only place in the earth where mankind and wild animals co-exist in harmony.

The area provides wildlife protection status as well permits human habitation at a time. The uniqueness made the NCA the only area where man, livestock and wild animals all live together in peace. On your way you might see the Maasai cattle grazing alongside zebras and wildebeest in the grassland under 12 year boys’ care taking.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park, full day game drive.

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Have a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, worldwide known as ‘Endless Plain’, overnight Serengeti Osupuko Lodge, in full board (BLD).

In that day you will have chance to explore the migration of hundreds of thousands of millions of Wildebeest, Zebras, Gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest those will be wandering at the short grass plains, followed by their predators in their annual migration in search of pasture and water.

Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation, enroute driving.

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Have a morning game drive, and then come back to the camp for late breakfast. Afterward pack stuff and drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight at the rim of the Crater in Ngorongoro Rhino Safari Lodge, full board (BLD).

On the way to camp you may stopover to visit Oldovai Gorge MUSEUM historical site. The museum was founded by Dr Mary Leakey a historian spent 60% of her life searching for human evolution evidences in Africa in the late 1970s. Originally she designed the Museum to keep paleanthropological artifacts from the area for academics researches.

Day 5: Descend to the Crater for a full day game drive.

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Descend to the Ngorongoro Crater for 9 -10 hours, ascend and drive to Karatu Kudu Safari Lodge for overnight, in full board (BLD).

Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The Crater, together with the Olmoti and Empakaai craters are part of the eastern Rift Valley, whose volcanism dates back to the late Mesozoic/early Tertiary periods and is famous for its geology. It also includes Laetoli and Olduvai Gorge, which contain an important palaeontological record related to human evolution.

On the other side Ngorongoro Crater is a home of Black Mane Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Foxes and Jackals, Hyenas, and good number of herbivores like Buffaloes, Wildebeest, Zebras, Gazelles Eland and Elephant Bulls. This is the park you may see the so called the ‘Big Five’ all

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania
Have a half day game drive then drive back to Arusha, to accomplish the tour package.

Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos and ‘maji moto’ (i.e. hot spring water)! The Park has a number of elephants, so many giraffes; zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, and warthog, small known shy Kik’s dik dik as well as Klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment. However, the Park regarded as Africa’s largest and huge herds of baboons, expected by most of the visitors.
