(Lemosho Route) Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking and Camping

When you choose to climb with us, you climb with professional, experienced, medically trained and well-paid guides. Our guides are licensed by Kilimanjaro National Park Service, certified Wilderness First Responders (WFR) and extensively trained on emergency, rescue and evacuation protocols.

Our guides possess rare leadership skills that instill confidence in hikers. We run drills with them every few months to make sure they skills stay as sharp as expected.

Lemosho route starts at Londorossi Gate(2250m) which is located on the Western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. This is a relatively new route on Mount Kilimanjaro and not very many people use it.

On the first 3 days you will enjoy the western side of the mountain which is still very wild and if you are lucky, you may spot buffaloes and elephants along the trails. On day 3 Lemosho Route joins Machame Route at the Lava Towers(4630m).

This route is normally done in 7 days but some hikers choose to do it in 8 days. Those who opt for 8 days get an extra day to acclimatize in order to increase their chances of reaching the summit.

Group climb – Join a group on arrival

For this option, you will climb with a group of other people that you will meet on arrival.

Private climbs – Solo climbs or private groups

For this option, you can do a solo climb (with your guide and porters) or a private group climb (climb with people you know such as family members, co-workers, etc)
