Itinerary

Day 1: Machame gate - Machame huts

Pass By: Machame, Machame, Kilimanjaro Region
We shall walk from the machame gate where is our starting point heading to Machame huts which is;
1830m /6000ft- machame gate.
3030m /9940ft-Machame huts.

Walking distance: 5.5km /3.5miles
Walking time: 5 -7 hours
Altitude gain : 1200m /3940ft

Day 2: Machame huts - New Shira camp

Pass By: Machame, Machame, Kilimanjaro Region
In this day we shall walk for another distance from Machame huts to New shira camp in Kilimanjaro mountain which has 3850m / 12630ft from sea level.
The walking distance :5.5km / 3.5miles
Walking time : 4 - 6 hours
Altitude gain : 820m / 2690ft

Day 3: New shira camp - via Lava Tower & Barranco huts - Karanga camp

Pass By: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
This day will take a bit long hike. Will spend climbing up towards the Lava Tower which is 100m / 300ft volcanic plug, left over from times when Kilimanjaro was volcanic.

Day 4: Karanga camp -via Barafu huts- Summit attempts & Stella point - Uhuru peak and decend via Mweka route to Millenium camp

This day will a long hike to this mountain
