Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Our driver guides will pick you at 8.00 am and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive, Late afternoon drive to Paronama camp for dinner and overnight
This is superb national park to visit all year round. However, visiting between June to September gives you to access to a huge variety of animals. The weather is usually clear blue, cloudless sky with a hot sun that bakes the earth into a dusty red and withers the grass to a shade of pale yellow. The Tarangire River and its surrounding area is home to huge array of exciting wildlife because it offers an excellent watering-hole to quench the animals’ thirst.
You will see amazing herd of animals including elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelles, hartebeest, and eland. It is the greatest concentration of wildlife existing outside of the Serengeti National Park. This area is the only place in Tanzania where you’ll see the fringe-eared oryx and long-necked gerenuk (member of dry-country antelope family) as the gather to drink water from the Tarangire River. Other animals include the Dwarf Mongoose, Red and yellow Barbet and Tarangire’s Python. This National Park is also a good siting area for Lions and Leopards who prowl the savannah looking for prey.
The swampland in Tarangire is home to 550 bird varieties and is heaven on earth for avid bird watchers; it is the largest habitat for breeding species in the whole world.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara national park, for game drive, dinner and overnight at Panorama Camp
Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most dazzling jewels and must be seen! It stretches for over 50 km (31 miles) along the Rift Valley. Explore lush green jungle and see the hundreds of strong baboons roam territorially, across the expanse of land. Watch the blue monkeys swiftly dash between the giant Mahogany trees and marvel at the dainty bushbuck who warily creep in the shadows. When you leave the forest, you enter the grassy plains with its incredible views. Head East, across the lake and you’ll come across the Maasai Steppes which is home to the Baobab Trees and Acacia Trees. It’s a semi-dry land and home to large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra who congregate together with the graceful giraffes. Further inland, there is a narrow strip of land where more Acacia trees stand. Large tusked elephants also like to roam this area along with banded mongoose and dik-dik’s who forage, looking for food. Klipspringers (antelope) travel in pairs and often watch, warily, on the rocks close to the boiling hot springs which steam up and bubble next to the shores of the lake, South-side of the National Park.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Coservation Area Authority

Stop At: Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive, late afternoon you will drive to simba camp for dinner and overnight.
The crater is stupendous natural wonder of the world and sits right in the middle of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The bottom of the crater is renowned for incredible opportunities to see game, you could view some extremely rare animals (e.g. black rhino) as well as many different herds of animals.
Originally, the Ngorongoro crater was Volcanic and was formed approximately 20 million years ago as a part of Rift valley. The rim of the crater is high, standing at 2220 m (1.4 miles) so take a jacket or sweater as it can get chilly. The steep walls at the side of the crater rise over 600m from the floor and it is most magical area in the conservation area guaranteed to enthral every person who visit.
The crater is home to 30,000 animals including “The Big five” buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions and rhino. As well as those animals, it is home to cheetah, hartebeest, hippos, hyenas, jackals, reedbuck, warthog, servals, waterbuck, wildebeest, zebra and hundreds of birds as well as thousands of insects.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will drive en route to Serengeti National Park via Maasai Boma for culture exchange.
The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s most famous park and it is also the oldest. It is believed to be one of the natural wonders of the world and to see the million wildebeest rhythmically and instinctively travelling together across the land is truly magical. Before migration begins from southern Serengeti. Wildebeest mate and produce more than 8,000 calves daily. Its survival of the fittest as migration is 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage battling crocodile-infested rivers as they travel north, As well as the wildebeest migration.
200,000 zebra and 300,000 Gazelles join in looking for food. This spectacle takes place from December to July. It’s important to bear in mind that the wildebeest migration route is unpredictable and see it, you need to allow a minimum of three days at two or three different location in Serengeti when visit during migration season.
Even if you visit the Serengeti outside of the wildebeest migration you will still see some unbelievably game-viewing including herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, topi, eland, impala, kongoni and gazelles. The park is also home to golden lions who prowl along the high plains, leopards lur in Acacia trees along the seronera river and cheetahs flit through the South Eastern plains, African jackals also live in the Serengeti along with the spotted hyena, aardwolf and servals.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Drive en route to Lake Natron

Stop At: Lake Natron, Lake Natron, Arusha Region
Game drive en route to Lake Natron.Lake Natron is a lake situated in the northern region of Tanzania near the great east African rift valley. The lake is very rich in soda and salt and a habitat to numerous flamingos. The lake is one of the most alkaline lakes in Africa very rich in minerals the pH of the lake water is said to be 10.5 and can burn animals that are not acquainted with the water. The water temperatures at Lake Natron can reach 41 degrees Celsius. During dry season the salinity of the lake dramatically increases. This Tanzania safari destination is filled with mystery and adventure

ACTIVITIES AT LAKE NATRON
Bird watching: Lake Natron is the best destination for bird enthusiasts especially those fond of flamingoes. The flamingo walk will expose tourists to countless flamingoes at the crater and a part from watching flamingoes, tourists can extend to watch other birds, this walks normally take place in the morning and evening hours.

Hiking: Tourists visiting lake Natron can have fun hiking up to the Engage Sero waterfalls and relax and have your packed launch, the hikes can take half or full day. The top of the water falls provides you with outstanding photo opportunities and also majestic views of Lake Natron

Picnicking
Picnicking can be done when visiting Lake Natron. The Great Rift Valley hiking trail will lead you to a dramatic picnic sites on top of lengai and hiking the rift valley wall on foot after a picnic lunch or breakfast tourists can descend using another route to the valley.

Cultural tours
Tourists can also visit one of Africa still kept and preserved primitive group of Hunter gathering tribe, the Had a bush men who have a very unique way of life different from most African tribes

Day 9: Prison island tour

Stop At: Prison Island - Changuu Private Island, Off the Coast From Stone Town Shangani, Stone Town, Zanzibar City 3395 Tanzania
Prison Island also known as the Changuu Island lies about 30 minutes by boat from the Zanzibar Island. The prison thereon was never used to house prisoners. The Prison Island Tour in Zanzibar will take you there.

The island was once used by an Arab slave trader to contain the more troublesome slaves he had brought from the African mainland to prevent their escape before shipping them to the Arabian purchasers, or for auctioning in Zanzibar slave trade market. The slaves were dumped on the island.
The old prison still remains standing, providing shelter for some of the giant tortoises which can now only be found on this island, and the cells.
after lunch our representative will pick you at the hotel and transfer to the airport to fly back home.
