Itinerary

Day 1: DAY : DAR ES SALAAM – SELOUS GR

Pass By: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
selous is the bigest conservation area in Africa in term of size it cover 50,000 km/sq with

richness in wild animals international recognized by UNESCO. The magnificent plants, animals

and birds species will leave you memorable experience.

Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, depart to Selous game reserve arrival for hot lunch.After lunch rest for a while and in the evening have a boat safari. Dinner and overnight at.

Day 2: DAY : SELOUS GR

Pass By: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
In the early morning do walking safari and heavy breakfast afterwards. Have lunch in the

afternoon at camp/hotel and an evening game drive. After game drive return to camp/hotel,have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: DAY 3 : SELOUS GR – MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Pass By: Mikumi National Park, A7, Tanzania
Mikumi National Park covers an area of 3,230 sq km, and is rich in wildlife including buffalo, wildebeest,

zebra, lion, elephant, and eland which can be viewed throughout the year. Reptiles including crocodile,

monitor lizard and python are also resident in the park. More than 400 bird species have been recorded,

including European migrants during the rainy season. Have an early morning breakfast and on route

game drive to Mikumi National Park, have packed lunch on the way arrive for evening game drive and return to camp/hotel for dinner and overninght.

Day 4: DAY 4: MIKUMI NP-UDZUNGWA NP

Pass By: Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Kidayi, Tanzania
Udzungwa Mountains is undoubtedly one of the few true virgin and unique forested lands remaining in

the world. Apart from the forest, which acts as a water catchment area and having a large number of

endemic species of both animals and plants, the park has spectacular mountains scenery, grasslands,

rocks, rivers and waterfalls. One of the most interesting sights is the presence of two indigenous species

of primates, the Iringa red colobus monkey and the Sanje Crested Mangabey, not known until 1979.

Apart from providing habitat to about six species of primates, its plateau contains populations of

elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, African hunting dogs and several forest bird species.

After early breakfast drive to Udzungwa National Park . Go for a hike after arrival with packed

lunch, in the afternoon take a lunch break at a picnic spot. After lunch hike back to Twiga hotel,

dinner and overnight.

Day 5: DAY 5 : UDZUNGWA NP – RUAHA NP

Pass By: Ruaha National Park, Great Ruaha River, Iringa Tanzania
Ruaha National Park takes its name from the Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern border.

The river provides permanent water in the park, and during the dry season animal concentration along

its banks is spectacular This unspoilt wilderness is rich in flora and fauna, and contains a wide variety of

animals that includes Greater and Lesser Kudu, roan and sable antelopes, which are rarely seen in most

other game parks especially in Northern Tanzania, During the dry season the river attracts great

quantities of game including lions, leopard, hunting or wild dog, impala, waterbuck, warthog, giraffe,

and elands. In the plains ostriches, cheetahs and Grants Gazelles can be seen

After early morning breakfast depart to Ruaha National park with luch break on the way (Iringa town – hotel/restaurant). After lunch do shopping in town for an hour and depart to Ruaha and have dinner on your arrival at restaurant/hotel.

Day 6: DAY 6 : RUAHA NP

Pass By: Ruaha National Park, Great Ruaha River, Iringa Tanzania
Have an early morning walking safari (short walk – 4hrs) and have a breakfast afterwards. Take

a rest at a camp/hotel and lunch in the afteroon. After lunch have an evening game drive,return to cottage after the drive, have dinner and overnight.

Day 7: DAY: 7 RUAHA NP- MBEYA

Pass By: Mbeya Peak, Mbeya Tanzania
After breakfast have, depart the park and drive to Mbeya, have lunch on the way. Arrive to Mbeya for dinner, overnight at a hotel

Day 8: DAY 8: MBEYA – KITULO NP

Pass By: Kitulo National Park, Mbeya Tanzania
Kitulo support the largest and most important montane grassland community in Tanzania. Referred by

locals as The Garden of God, Kitulo National Park is “one of the great floral spectacles of the world”, a

rare botanical marvel and home to 350 species of vascular plants, including 45 varieties of terrestrial

orchid, which erupt into a riotous wildflower display of breathtaking scale and diversity during the main

rainy season of late November to April.

After early breakfast drive to kitulo national park with a packed lunch for a hike, have a picnic lunch in the afternoon. Hike back in the evening and drive back to Mbeya. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
