9 Day Mara River Crossing Migration Safari

The wildebeest migration continues moving northwards during this time of the year, where you will see the herds spread out across the northern Serengeti, where the Mara River provides the migration with its most serious obstacle. This river gushes through the northern Serengeti from Kenya's adjacent Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Watching the frantic herds of the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River can be very spectacular. It's common to see herds cross the Mara River north on one day, and then back south a few days later.

Day 1

This day you will be met by a friendly Warrior Trails driver guide at Kilimanjaro airport, after greetings, you will be transferred to Arusha town for overnight at Mount Meru Hotel. B/B 

Day 2

Following your breakfast, you will drive Tarangire National park for the full day game drive with picnic lunches. Later drive to Maramboi Tented camp for dinner and overnight. F/B

Day 3

This day you will drive across Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National park for the game drive with picnic lunches. Later drive to Serengeti Osupuko Camp for dinner and overnight. F/B

Day 4

This day you will drive to the northern part of Serengeti following the migration of wildebeest along Mara river. Enjoy picnic lunches in the park. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Wilderness Camp. F/B

Day 5

This day after breakfast, you will have a full day game drive at the migration area along Mara river with picnic lunches. Later drive back your camp for Dinner and overnight. F/B

Day 6

Depart northern parts of Serengeti to Central parts of Serengeti with picnic lunches. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Osupuko Camp. F/B

Day 7

Enjoy the morning game drive at Serengeti with picnic lunches en route to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. F/B

Day 8

Early this day you will descend the largest unbroken crater for the full day game drive on the crater floor. Enjoy your picnic lunches at Nkoitoktok picnic site. Later evening ascends the crater and drive to Ngorongoro Farm house for dinner and overnight. F/B

Day 9

This day after breakfast, you will get ready for the drive to Arusha ready to be transferred to the airport for your out bound flight.
