Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania

Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
Arusha is a city in East Africa's Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It's a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa's highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast and to the west lies Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes and leopards. As a tourist hub, here you will spend the night and commence your journey to the parks as per your itinerary.

Day 2: Arusha - Tengeru Cultural Tour - Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tengeru, Arusha - Himo Rd, Tanzania
After breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to Tengeru for cultural tourism. Options; 1. Coffee tour
2. Local Market tour (Wednesday & Saturday)
3. German missionaries graveyards
4. Lake Duluti hiking and canoeing

Stop At: Meserani Snake Park, Arusha Tanzania
The snake park is a special treasure of Arusha, a wonderful source of enjoyment and relaxation for locals and foreign visitors.
The snake park is located 25km west of Arusha on the route to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. The snake park provides various activities, take a guided tour and learn about some of the most dangerous snakes in the world, from the Black and Green Mamba, Egyptian Cobra, Puff Adders and many more. Capture your special moment and hold a real live snake. Check out the 3m plus crocodiles at feeding time and touch a baby crocodile.
You can also enjoy your personal Maasai guide who will take you on a spectacular tour of the Maasai Cultural Museum.
Visit the Free Education Centre, where the local Maasai have the opportunity to learn how to read and write and further their education in many different ways.

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. It covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers (1,100 square miles.) The landscape is composed of granitic ridges, river valley, and swamps. Vegetation is a mix of Acacia woodland, Combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland, and baobab trees. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant's gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
After a delicious breakfast you will go for a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. After lunch you will visit Mto wa Mbu local Market to see the red bananas and other organic vegetation grown there, Masai Village visit and orphanage Centre when time allows.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Your breakfast will be ready at 7:30a.m then you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania's Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It covers an area of 325 km2 (125 sq mi) including about 230 km2 (89 sq mi) lake surface. More than 350 bird species have been observed on the lake.

Stop At: Karatu, Karatu, Arusha Region
You will drive to Karatu for lunch at Gibbs farm. At Gibbs farm you will enjoy the beautiful gardens and organic fresh delicious food from their gardens. After lunch you will go for a local home visit and learn about the Iraqw people where you will take pictures while wearing wedding shirts made of goat skin and carrying of the local utensils and men’s tribal look.

Day 5: Karatu town - Lake Eyasi

Stop At: Lake Eyasi, Karatu Tanzania
Enjoy breakfast and take a journey into the “God’s must be crazy” movie. The Hadzabe tribe of Tanzania is the last true nomads of Africa. The company will take you to an amazing adventure with the Hadzas. You will join the men as they hunt for their daily subsidence using traditional bow and arrows, or join the women as the forage for fruits and berries.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi - Karatu

Stop At: Karatu, Karatu, Arusha Region
Continue with early morning Hadzabe and Datoga tribes activities. The Datoga are skilled farmers and craftsman. You will visit their habitat, and experience their culture first hand. Be prepared for the experience of a lifetime.

Day 7: Karatu town - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Leave your lodge early for a full day in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area. The conservation area is administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, an arm of the Tanzanian government, and its boundaries follow the boundary of the Ngorongoro Division of the Arusha Region.

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles). Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from 4,500 to 5,800 metres (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. The crater floor is 1,800 metres (5,900 feet) above sea level. The crater was voted by Seven Natural Wonders as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in Arusha, Tanzania in February 2013. The Ngorongoro volcano was active from about 2.45 to 2 million years ago.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Arusha Town - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
Get your morning breakfast at your lodge then drive back to Arusha, have lunch before you are transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight back home.
