Join an open group which consisting of 3 clients from  New York United States of America, arriving on  June 29th 2019 and will begin hiking mount Kilimanjaro on 30th  June 2019 for  8 Days through Lemosho Route and Descend on July  7th 2019

Lemosho route is considered the most scenic trail on Kilimanjaro, granting panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Tanzania and transfer to the hotel
Arrive in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO), Kilimanjaro Brothers staff will pick you up and transfer to Moshi town where you will spend the first night at a hotel. Those who will arrival through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Kenya, we will pick you up and get you transferred by Shuttle bus to Moshi.

Day 2 Drive to Londorossi Park Gate
Drive to Londorossi Park Gate (2,385m or 7825 ft) and climbing to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,700 meters or 8858 ft)
Hiking hours: 3-4 hours.
Distance: 8 Km or 5 miles.

Day 3 Climbing from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1
Climbing from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1 (3,500 m or 11483 feet)
Hiking: hours 5-6 hours.
Distance: 6 Km or 6 miles.

Day 4 Climbing from Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2
Climbing from Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2 (3,840 meters or 12,598 feet)
Hiking hours: 3-4 hours.
Distance: 8 Km or 5 miles.

Day 5 Climbing from Shira Camp 2 to Barranco Camp
Climbing from Shira Camp 2 to Barranco Camp (3,950 meters or 12959 feet)
Hiking hours: 6-7 hours.
Distance: 8 Km or 5 miles.

Day 6 Climbing from Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley Camp
Climbing from Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley Camp (3,995 meters 13,106 feet)
Hiking hours: 4-5 hours.
Distance: 5 Km or 3 miles.

Day 7 Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp
Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp (4,550 meters or 14928 feet)
Hiking hours: 4-5 hours.
Distance: 4 Km or 2 miles.

Day 8 Climbing to Uhuru Peak
Climbing to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters or 19,341 feet) Hiking hours 7-8 hours and distance 5 Km or 3 miles, then descend through Barafu for short rest and continue to to Mweka Camp (3,060 meters or 10,065 feet) 4-6 hours with distance 12 Km or 7 miles.

Day 9 Descend to Mweka Gate
Descend to Mweka Gate (4,600) Hiking hours 3-4 hours. Distance 4 Km or 2 miles to Mweka gate. Transfer to at Park View Inn for certificate and summit party ceremony.

Day 10 Transfer to Airport.
Transfer to airport.
Total distance covered is 70 Km or 42 miles.
