Day 1: Airport - Arusha

Pass By: Arusha Village Experience, Arusha Tanzania
Day 1: ARUSHA
Meet at Kilimanjaro International airport and transfer to Arusha
Overnight at The African Tulip – Bed and Breakfast included

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Pass By: Arusha National Park, Tanzania
Day 2: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, collect packed lunch and drive to Arusha National Park. The park (542km²), has terrain ranging from open savannah through acacia scrublands to Afro-montane cloud and rain forest and Afro-alpine vegetation similar to Mount Kilimanjaro. There are several alkaline lakes and the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater. Mammal species include elephant, buffalo, various primates, giraffe and leopard. Enjoying game drive in Arusha National Park, in the evening you will drive to Arusha

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Day 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – LAKE EYAS
After breakfast, collect packed lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for mid - morning and early afternoon game drive, the park is home of the tree-climbing lions but not guaranteed to be spotted. Apart from the varied types of landscape including jungle, swamp, savannah and the Great Rift Valley wall which is a catchment area for the rivers which flow into the park creating the fascinating ground water tropical forest at the foot of the wall, there are also a large variety of animals including Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant, Gazelle, hippos, monkeys and about 400 different species of birds providing the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Afternoon drive to Lake Eyas area - a special place which offers the possibility of a genuine cultural encounter with ancient tribes, namely the Hadzabe and the Datoga

Day 4: Lake Eyas

Pass By: Lake Eyasi, Karatu Tanzania
Day 4: LAKE EYAS
After breakfast, proceed for Hadzabe Bushmen, a hunter-gatherer tribe who are believed to have lived in the area for nearly 10,000 years, live close to the shores of Lake Eyasi, Their language resembles that of Kalahari bushmen tribe (who were featured in the 1980 film ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy’) with clicking noises used
The Hadzabe – what you can learn from the Hadzabe includes the following
• Different kinds of materials being used to make arrows - arrow sticks, the preparation of poison and the point of poison in the arrow
• Processing poison from the poison tree
• Shallow wells prepared by women for water collection from the ground for the home use
• Traditional dancing
• Barbeque preparation of fresh meat for the lucky days of hunting, normally about 2 -3 days of big kills per week but small kills are regular and common
• How to make fire the traditional way, in the ancient hand-drill method using palms of the hands and two pieces of sticks / wood

Lunch will be served at your lodge – Lake Eyas Safari Lodge

Afternoon enjoy tour with the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe who are pastoralists
What you can learn from the Datoga includes:-
• General life style of the Datoga
• How mud & cow dung huts are being prepared by women
• Preparation of the boma ( the cattle fence)
• Learning the way men and women dress
• Learn about black smiths, weapons & weapon making
• Flour making by women using grinding stones
If time allow – In the evening you will have walking tour at Lake Eyas

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Day 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, collect packed lunch drive to the prime attraction of Africa – Serengeti National Park, a World Heritage Site! Enjoy lunch at the lodge. Africa’s largest and most famous park is an astounding 16,000 sq kms of wild paradise. Most famous for its annual migration of wildebeests and zebras, this is Africa’s best reserve. The “Famous Five” await your arrival during an afternoon game drive – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino – all in African style! Watch out for the Impala stags, giraffes, water bucks and more – found in this area

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Day 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Safari in Swahili simply means a "journey". Nowadays it has become a synonym for wildlife viewing in the African bush. We explore the endless plains to discover the vast expanse and wilderness of Serengeti. Indulge, take your time and relish each moment spotting wildlife. We search for the most wonderful natural phenomenon, the Grand Migration of thousands and thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains in search of water and food. Crossing fingers that we will see this, being something so natural and not manmade, we cannot guarantee, but hopefully we'll experience it. Enjoy and cherish morning and afternoon game drives through the Park.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater

Pass By: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Day 9: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, drive towards Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch. The Crater is one of the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, offering fabulous game viewing and is one of the only such places in Africa. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depend on the open grasslands are in the crater, attracting predators, the black- maned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingos and is a suitable place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden.

Day 10: Tarangire National Park

Day 10: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA
After breakfast, you will collect packed lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing, a small breathtaking Park with an immense natural richness surrounded by ancient baobab trees. Lesser kudu, eland, lion, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, Maasai giraffe and fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its lions. Packed lunch will be served at secluded area within park area, late afternoon drive to Arusha

Day 11: Airport
