Day 1 - Welcome to Catalonia. Our trip starts in Barcelona, the meeting point will be at Estación de Francia at 10.00 am, from where we will depart towards our destination, the Pyrenees. The trip will take about 2 hours. Once in the mountains we'll do a briefing of the routes and preparation of the bikes. After that we will have lunch and you will have the afternoon free to stroll, get familiar with the place or enjoy the first hike around the area.

Day 2 - Err - Nuria. Now the real fun and action starts! Medium difficulty trekking tour through the

Eastern Pyrenees. We will leave early from the town of Err in France, in the northern part of the

Cerdanya valley, throughout the route there are breathtaking views and landscapes which are typical of high mountain regions. After 7 hours on route, we will reach Nuria valley, a wonderful Pyrenees enclave which can only be accessed either on foot or by rack railway, and it also has a small ski resort. We will stay at the

Santuario de Nuria hotel.

Day 3 - Santuario de Nuria – Pico del Águila. Today we leave behind the magnificent

Nuria valley but not before climbing to the top of the

Pico del Águila and returning along the same route, this part is of moderate difficulty. Once we arrive back at the sanctuary, we will get on the rack railway (special high mountain train) and head towards a typical mountain village called

Ribas de Freser, where we will enjoy a typical lunch at one of its restaurants and then we will travel to the hotel.

Day 4 - Bouilloses Lakes Route. The lake route will take us on a circular path within this beautiful enclave in the

French part of the eastern Pyrenees, where will will go around some extremely beautiful lakes and picturesque landscapes. Upon reaching the last lake, there will be a picnic lunch, some time to rest and then we will descend along a moderately difficult route that lasts for approximately 4 hours. Return to the hotel, rest and dinner.

Day 5 - Puigpedros peak. For today’s route we will be taken to the

Malniu shelter from where our route will begin. We will gain height along a trail up to

Malniu lake, of glacial origin, to then continue until reaching the

Puig Pedros peak, the highest peak in the province of Girona, 2,915 m. We will have a picnic lunch along the circular route. During the transfer from the shelter we will stop along the way at the typical mountain village of

Maranges, where there will be a tasting of Pyrenees cheeses. Return and dinner at the hotel.
