From Goree island 15 to 20 millions slaves will be shipped for the New World.This unique island will be classified world heritage since 1978.Beside you will explore Dakar ,which was the former capital city of French west African colonies.Therefore you will see the presidential mansion ,which was the former French governor's residence ,the independence square, the Senegalese infantry men square, the former railway station which date back colonial area, Soweto square ,Sandaga market, the obelisk square ,the monument of the African Renaissance, the divinity mosque. And a tour in Dakar ancient boroughs ,will give you a real portray of Africa.

From your hotel ,we start this lifetime tour ,first exploring :Dakar ,which used to the former capital city of french west african colonies.We will see the independence square,the historical cradle of Dakar, you will also visit the presidencial mansion, the Senegal infantry men square, the railroad station ,the national assembly ,the big cathedral ,the obelisk square, the divinity mosque before ending with the monument of the African Renaissance. There we visit the slave ,where you will see the famous" gate of return " and the cells ,where the slaves were shackled ,while waiting for the boats to come back and carry them .Then we will tour around the island to discover ,the world heritage:the 1830 French church, the place ,where the Portuguese had built their 1481 chapel ,used at the time as cemetery for the Portuguese missionaries, the French governor residence ,the historical museum,the former French fortifications.
