Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our guide who will transfer you to your lodge in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or similar (FB)

Day 2: Volcanoes National Park

Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
Very early in the morning set off and transfer to the park to catch up with briefing and then head out for gorilla trekking in Volcano National Park. Normally it takes between 2 - 4 hours to encounter the mountain gorillas in the jungle. The park was established in 1925, after Mountain Gorillas were discovered for the very first time, and was the first ever national park in Africa. Now as then, few experiences match that of coming face to face with a mountain gorilla as it gnaws on bamboo shoots; in fact, it is probably one of Africa’s indisputable travel highlights.
After the face to face experience with the mountain gorillas in the wilderness return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the evening, relax at the balcony of your room in the evening or visit the local community or take an excursion to explore the beautiful lakes in the region (Lake Bulera and Ruhondo).

Day 3: Dian Fossey's Grave / Golden Monkey Tracking

Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
Today, there are different optional activities to choose from. Visit the Dian Fossey grave at (Bisoke) or visit the Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National park. In the afternoon drive to Kigali, overnight at hotel.
Dinner and Overnight at Kigali Serena (BB)

Day 4: Departure

Stop At: Kigali Genocide Memorial, KG 14 Ave, Kigali Rwanda
This morning, you will be picked up from the hotel, and depending on the departure time, and Transfer to the Airport for departure.
