This tour is a great opportunity to enjoy to the largest and most beautiful mountains of Kola Peninsula, which is more than 350 million years old.
They are rich in different stones and minerals, many of which can be found nowhere else in the world. At the foot of the mountains there are two cities – Apatity and Kirovsk, and along the western sides of the Khibiny you can see beautiful lake Imandra. You will enjoy the majestic mountain sceneries and visit the Mineralogy Museum which has a unique collection of minerals from all over the world.

Stop At: Lake Imandra, Murmansk Oblast, Russia

Observing opened quarry where minerals are extracted, walking to the shore of spectacular Imandra lake (the largest lake of Kola peninsula).
There are a number of islands and the largest one, Erm Island measures 26 km². The lake is known for the transparency of its water and its abundance of fish.

Stop At: Apatity, Apatity, Murmansk Oblast, Northwestern District

A visit to Apatity - located along the Murman Railway between Lake Imandra and the Khibiny Mountains. The town is named after one of its most abundant natural resources in the area, apatite, the raw mineral used in the production of phosphorus mineral fertilizers.
You will see the main sights and explore the USSR architectural heritage.

Stop At: Kirov, Kirov, Kirov Oblast, Volga District

The administrative center of Kirov Oblast, Russia, located on the Vyatka River. Kirov is a major transport hub (railway; Trans-Siberian main) and river port. It is served by Kirov Pobedilovo airport.
We will visit mining and mineralogical museum in Kirovsk city, watching an unique collection of stones and minerals from all over the world.
You will see the city highlights & feel the atmosphere of a remote Russian town.

Stop At: Snow Village, Near Polar Alpine Botanical Garden-Institute, Behind Dispensary Tirvas., Kirovsk Russia

Snow village is a huge labyrinth made under the snow with beautiful wall carvings and with ice sculptures made by artists from all over the Arctic region; Russia, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Illuminated with colored lights the corridors, halls and rooms show a fantastic world of winter fairytale, where Father Frost (the Russian Santa Claus) and Snow-girl welcome their guests.

Snow village is built every year from fresh snow. Every year the Arctic artists are challenged by a new and actual theme like we had the Winter Olympics in Sochi (2014) and World Cup Football (2018). That's guarantee that a yearly visit of Snow village is unique and interesting for visitor of all ages.

Outside you can have fun with sledging down from a snow hill on a “pancake” or have a ride on a “banana” pulled by a snowmobile.
On the territory of Snow village there is a café where you can warm up and have nice food and warm drinks for reasonable prices and you can find there the toilets.
