Church of Savior on the Spilt Blood is one of the main symbols of Russia. It is the largest mosaic church in the world with amazing colorful onion-shaped domes. It was built in 1907 on the spot where tzar liberator Alexander II was killed for freeing the serfs in 1861.

Stop At: Saint Isaac's Square, Isaakiyevskaya Sq., St. Petersburg Russia
St Isaac's cathedral is the 4th largest cathedral in the world with fantastic interiors made of colorful marble, mosaics, stones and gold. During the World War II it was used as a secret shelter for locals from artillery shelling.
