St. Isaac Cathedral is the largest orthodox church in Saint Petersburg. The construction lasted 40 years, it was dedicated in 1858. 500 thousand workers took part in construction process. Among the unique features - giant solid marble columns, each weighs 110 tons. And the interior of the cathedral is also very impressive and rich.

Peter and Paul Fortress - the historical heart of the city. The foundation date - May 27 1703 - is considered to be city’s birthday. You will have a chance to get inside the Peter and Paul Cathedral which used to be the highest building in the city for almost 300 years (122,5 meters high). There is also a Romanovs family tomb - from Peter I to the very last Russian Emperor.
