The ice-rink covers 2000 sq m and it is the most popular in the whole city. Immerse yourself in magical winter wonderland, snap astonishing selfies and take in beautiful illumination and cheerful music.

6.30-7pm After fun at the skating rink, head over to the Christmas market located nearby. Stock up on the handmade crafts and world-known Russian souvenirs, indulge in street food from the most fashionable restaurants of the city and learn interesting facts about Russian Christmas and New Year traditions from your expert guide.

The New Year Market operates from 25 December to 8 January in the courtyard of the Bottle on New Holland Island and features 14 stalls selling festive food, treats and gifts places around a gorgeous 8-metre high Christmas Tree. The courtyard will be decked out with patio-heaters and chairs, and from 15 to 31 December there will be a Christmas Tree market open next to the Bottle’s main entrance.

Children aged 6 and above can have fun at Father Frost workshops and learn how to make calendars, toys, gifts, garlands and board-games under the supervision of Father Frost’s highly experienced helpers. Participation is free of charge.

7pm Finish the tour at Christmas market where you can have more fun and get local souvenirs or dinner.
