In 2020, the Madeira® Mandolin Orchestra celebrates its 107th Anniversary with its traditional Birthday Concert featuring a classical music program to the music of mandolins and will be confirmed by Portuguese tenor Carlos Guilherme.

Celebrate another year of the long life of the Madeira® Mandolin Orchestra at your new home in the VIDAMAR Resort Hotel Madeira “Sunrise” Auditorium.

The Madeira Mandolin Orchestra (OBM) ® was founded in 1913 and
composed of 30 musicians, aged between 13 and 46 years. Since then, it has been recognized as the oldest and youngest Mandolin Orchestra in Europe, a distinction of relevance in a region of excellence within the European community.

The Madeira Mandolin Orchestra | Mandolin Orchestra® Wood celebrates another anniversary with its traditional Birthday Concert. In this Concert, the Orchestra promotes the realization of a classic program with the most varied classical songs recognized worldwide and unites it with the lyrical voices of its guests.
Madeira Mandolin Orchestra Special Concerts | Mandolin Orchestra® Wood is a thoughtful, ambitious and thoughtful proposal and artistic opportunity, with an integrated and integral design.

Its organization addresses a unique interpretation of the great works of music literature by composers and creators such as Kètèlbey, Vivaldi, Ponchieli, Strauss, among others, bringing together the sound of the mandolins of each of the young and dedicated performers of the orchestra of Madeira Mandolins and the lyrical voices of the renowned guests of the Orchestra.

This program makes this orchestra the only mandolin orchestra in Madeira with a high artistic level program throughout the year.
