Meet Óbidos
Óbidos is a Portuguese village in the district of Leiria, located in the province of Estremadura, integrating the Intermunicipal Community of the West in the Centro region, with about 2,200 inhabitants.
In 2007 the Óbidos Castle was declared by the Seven Wonders of Portugal contest the second of the seven most important monuments of Portuguese architectural heritage.
