Love of Doom Tour

This tour involves us in the love of Teresa and Simon, an innocent and young love. And because of family prohibition they were separated, which eventually led to their premature death.

We will start our itinerary in the Square of Love of Perdition next to the statue of Camilo Castelo Branco and Ana Plácido. We will visit the Chain of Relations, where Camilo Castelo Branco was imprisoned and wrote Love of Doom.

Soon after we will have a well deserved rest, overlooking the Garden of Virtues, to snack and drink something typical of Porto.

After this rest we will follow the old Rua dos Fogueteiros to Largo do Viriato, where you will find the Public Baths built at the end of the XIX century to fight the typhoid epidemic. Continuing along Rua da Bandeirinha to the Monchique Monastery built in the 16th century, where Teresa saw her beloved depart.
