You'll head to the 12th-century Lisbon Cathedral for a historical introduction to the medieval district of Alfama, where Olisipo (Lisbon) was founded by the Romans.

Stop at the best viewpoint of Lisbon and enjoy spectacular hilltop vistas of the entire city, from the medieval district of Alfama to the Baixa (downtown), the Tagus river and the New Avenues.

You will capture the essence of Lisbon through a panoramic tour of the downtown (baixa) entirely rebuilt after the Great Lisbon Earthquake and tsunami of 1755.

While at the Belém district, admire the imposing architecture of the Monument to the Discoveries, with Prince Henry the Navigator at the prow of a limestone ship.
