Learn Photography While Visiting Porto

This tour/workshop will take you through the most famous streets and views of Porto. It is ideal for all who want to learn photography, while visiting the city.
This activity is suited not only for beginners, who seek to learn more about photography and improve their work, but also for more experienced photographers looking for someone to guide them through the best views and streets of Porto.
If you are a beginner I will teach you how to manually control your camera and provide you the necessary basics to get great compositions and develop your own style. We can also discuss some post-production techniques. In the end, I'm sure you will have your card full of images that will make you proud. If you are an experienced photographer, we can discuss more advanced techniques and share our way to approach photography. I will do my best to make sure you get the photos you have always dreamed of Porto.
Along the route we are going to photograph everything we find interesting.

Itinerary

The tour/workshop starts with a small conversation where I'll introduce myself and explain you the basics of photography, including how to use the camera in manual mode and composition tips. Then we will start photographing the city and the first monuments will be the famous Clérigos tower and the Carmo church. Then we will go down to the Avenida dos Aliados where we can photograph the beautiful city hall. Santa Catarina street, known for the shopping stores and street art, is our next stop and it's great for street photography. At the end of this street you'll have the opportunity to capture Santo Ildefonso church, a building covered with the traditional tiles of the city, from where we will move to the famous São Bento Railway station. Then you are going to have the privilege of photographing one of the oldest buildings of Porto, the cathedral. Lastly, we will walk on the top of Dom Luís bridge to the other side of the river and experience the best view to Porto, from serra do Pilar view point. During all this time I'm going to give you useful tips to improve your photography.
