In this pedestrian walk you will be dazzled by the waterfalls of Salto do Prego and Salto do Cagarrão where you will also have an opportunity to bathe. You will also get to know the picturesque village of Sanguinho and Faial da Terra, a valley that goes against the sea.

Stop At: Furnas, Sao Miguel Portugal

The day begins by leaving Ponta Delgada towards the eastern part of the island, making a small stop in the village of Povoação (first settlement of the island) for a break of comfort (30 min) where you will have the opportunity to taste the traditional sweet 'Fofas' '.

Stop At: Salto do Prego, Faial da Terra, Povoacao, Sao Miguel Portugal

Arriving at Faial da Terra, we begin our walk in the picturesque little spot of "Sanguinho", where you will not only enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view, but also benefit from the explanations of our guide on this fantastic place. We continue the path through exotic and dense vegetation to reach the magnificent waterfall "Salto do Prego", where you can, if you wish, bathe in the clear and fresh water. We continue the trail and follow a "levada" until arriving at the Faial of the Earth.

Observe the magnificent waterfall and bathe in the cold and crystalline waters.

Optional: a Picnic in the wild, or a complete meal that will be held in Faial on Earth, in a traditional country house where the food is cooked in a wood oven. At the end of the day, we return to Ponta Delgada.
