A FEW HANDY TIPS
* Stay hydrated: It is recommended that you carry at least 1.5 litres of water and some salty snacks, pretzels or peanuts to help replenish electrolytes.
* Sun protection: Sunglasses and a hat keep you cool and protect you from the sun. Sunblock is also recommended.
* Dressing appropriately:
Ladies should wear loose covered. Skirts, if worn, should reach to beneath the knee, wearing trousers clothing with arms and shoulders is the better option. It's also useful to carry a shawl to cover your hair in more conservative areas (especially include below-the-knee shorts or trousers, avoid some of the local mountain villages).
* Dress codes for men outside the Hotel singlets and sleeveless tops when Mountain sickness: Although it normally takes effect over 2,400 metres - Jabal Akhdar is close to that thresh- relax, drink headaches. Rest and old.
You may experience shortness of breath, fatigue, nausea and sometimes plenty of water, have a cup of tea or a piece of chocolate.
