The tour is a walking tour and you'll use excellent public transport. Duration is 6 hours. You will get to see the main highlights and hidden gems, and you will enjoy stunning views over Oslo.

The itinerary is flexible to fit the needs of the group. Public transport is available and shall be used to get to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, Vigeland Sculpture Park and Bygdøy.

Stop At: The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, Kirsten Flagstads Pl. 1, Oslo 0150 Norway

Oslo's Opera House is located right at the harbour, with an angled, white exterior that appears to rise from the water. It invites its visitors to climb its roof and enjoy panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord, all year round

Stop At: Akershus Castle and Fortress (Akershus Slott og Festning), Festningsplassen 1, Oslo 0015 Norway

Akershus Fortress is a great place to discover Oslo's history and enjoy a day. 

The building of Akershus Castle and Fortress was commenced in 1299 under king Håkon V. The medieval castle, which was completed in the 1300s, had a strategical location at the very end of the headland, and withstood a number of sieges throughout the ages. King Christian IV (1588-1648) had the castle modernised and converted into a Renaissance castle and royal residence.

Tjuvholmen is one of Oslo's newest boroughs. The area is characterised by an intriguing architectural diversity and unique outdoor areas. It plays host to several galleries and art installations, including the Astrup Fearnley Museum flanked by a sculpture park and a beach. Tjuvholmen's restaurants are known for their high standards and great locations

Stop At: Bygdoy Peninsula, Bygdoy, Oslo, Oslo 0286 Norway

Bygdøy also invites you to explore its beautiful nature. Several trails through fields and forests make it a great area for hiking and biking. In summertime, a trip to the beach at Huk is recommended

Vigeland Sculptural Park (200 statues). It is a walking tour in the park, and we will spend appr. 1 hour there.

The unique sculpture park is the life work of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron.

Holmenkollen Ski Jump area. View over Oslo and surrounding area.

A historic landmark in the Norwegian consciousness, Holmenkollen embodies more than a century of skiing competitions. The observation deck on top of the jump tower offers panoramic views of Oslo. Zip Line and Simulator.
