Stop At: Tour Shop, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010 New Zealand

Our day begins with your pick-up from your Auckland CBD City hotel or accommodation.

Heading north we pass over the spectacular Harbour Bridge with its view of two inner harbours and the thousands of sailing vessels that give us the nickname "City of Sails". Admire the scenery as it unfolds in front of you and take in the majestic sight of Rangitoto Volcano.

Enjoy the journey as we continue to travel through pretty seaside villages. Our first stop at an impressive coastal lookout is an ideal opportunity to take some great photos.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Honey Centre, Corner of State Highway One & Perry Road, Warkworth, Auckland 0983 New Zealand

We call into must do Honey Centre to try this area's famous Manuka Honey, renowned for its unique healing properties, or sample exotic combinations such as honey fruit blends such as blueberry honey. There's even a honey mead drink to taste, something quite different entirely!

The delightful gift shop stocks an interesting range of honey related items like candles, jewellery and skincare at very reasonable prices.

We take the opportunity to grab our freshly made espresso coffee before we make on way up to explore the village of Matakana.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Matakana Village Farmers' Market, 2 Matakana Valley Road, Matakana, Auckland 0985 New Zealand

On Saturdays, we call into the famous farmers market. Free local wine, craft ales, gourmet chocolate, honey, cheeses, pickles, condiments and sauce tastings are just a few of the food product samples awaiting you here.

Enjoy mingling like a local and the live entertainment on offer. Set in amongst the quaint village shopping square, discover local boutiques selling books, candles and designer clothes.

We haven't got long here so make the most of the time, perhaps grab a small bite to eat from one of the many food stalls to keep you going until your late lunch of fresh fish and chips.

* You may wish to bring a small amount of cash for any purchases as many of the stallholders do not accept credit cards

Duration: 30 minutes

Connect with the underwater world as you gentle paddle through the stunningly clear waters of the Goat Island Marine Reserve. Here you'll likely to see a variety of our fish species such as snapper, red moki, blue maomao, and perhaps even some eagle rays and stingrays!

This unique experience is unlike any other kayaking adventure around. The fully transparent tandem kayak allows you to marvel at the marine life that swims just below and under you. It's a 100% see-through canoe (known as a kayak in NZ).

Be assisted into your clearyak by a staff member who will brief on safety, fit you with a lifejacket and be on hand to point out the best viewing spots. You are never far from the shore in the sheltered cove.

Then, if time permits, we have the option of various stop-offs including small-batch craft ale makers Sawmill Brewery, or we call into Oysters Matakana, or grab an ice-cream from Charlies Gelato.
