Viaduct Harbour is a residential, commercial and leisure area located in the core of Auckland's CBD. Viaduct Harbour boosts some of the best restaurants and bars in Auckland, from fresh seafood in the Kermadec Ocean Fresh Restaurant to the ever-popular Waterfront bar and restaurant, the vibrant atmosphere at O'Hagans to a stylish dining experience at Soul. Regardless of where you dine, while sipping on a fine wine and enjoying mouth-watering meals, you can count on sitting overlooking the water and surrounding activities.

Viaduct Harbour also hosts a range of wonderful events including previous America's Cup chases, Louis Vuitton Regattas, March 2012 Volvo Round the World Race stopover, Auckland International Boat Show and New Zealand Fashion Week.

New Zealand's Voyager Maritime Museum can be discovered inside the Viaduct Harbour, as well as chartered yacht cruises that tour the harbour, and for a more pleasant experience you can walk around the harbour grab a gelato and enjoy the view of luxury yachts, racing yachts and incredible Viaduct Harbour views.

Mt Eden (Maungawhau) is one of the Auckland region's most prominent volcanic cones. Erupting from three overlapping scoria cones about 15,000 years ago, it created a enormous scoria mound from the last eruption with a central crater. Extensive earthworks altered the cone's steep upper slopes.

Mount Eden is the highest volcano in Auckland and one of the best place to go to during your stay in Auckland. Walk up to the peak of the volcano and take photos of the incredible view of the city from the top of the volcano.
