We have developed this specialised tour especially for cruise ship passengers that have a limited amount of time but would like to see as much as possible in a round trip, including all the main highlights the Namibian Coast has to offer.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Walvis Bay Yacht Club Pub and Restaurant, Atlantic Street, Walvis Bay, Namibia

Our first stop will be at the Walvis Bay Lagoon to see an abundance of flamingos and other birdlife

Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By: Walvis Bay Waterfront, End of Atlantic Street, Walvis Bay 9000 Namibia

We do a quick drive past to Salt Works and explain a little bit about the production

Stop At: Dune 7, just off the C14, 6km by road, Walvis Bay Namibia

Climb up one of the highest dunes in the Namib Desert dunebelt

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Moon Landscape, Namibia

See amazing views from this unique location full of beauty. The moonscape is a totally barren, undulating, rocky desert which was formed by the valleys of the Swakop river. Millions of years ago the river carved deep canyons into the granite rock, producing breathtaking geo-landscapes. It truly is an unspoilt precious place, a true reminder of the wonder that is nature. Its an easy drive that offers a sense of adventure and taste of the Namib Desert.

Stop At: Welwitschia Plains, Swakopmund Namibia

We also stop at the Welwitschia, a plant which is endemic to the Namib desert in Namibia and Southern Angola. Named after Friedrich Welwitsch who "discovered" the plant in 1859. Some of the specimen are estimated to be between 1000 and 1500 years old.

Stop At: Goanikontes Oasis Rest Camp, D1991, Swakopmund, Namibia

Afterwards we stop at the Goanikontes Oasis for a quick refreshment before we head towards Swakopmund.

Upon entering Swakopmund we take a short drive through the township and also pass some historical buildings and landmarks that make Swakopmund a favourite stop-over for all tourists visiting Namibia.

Stop At: Swakopmund Jetty, Swakopmund Namibia

We will drop you off close to the famous Craft Market and also within walking distance to the CBD and restaurants. Here you have some free time for shopping and eating at one of the many restaurants in Swakopmund before departing back to Walvis Bay.
