If you really want to discover the secret corners of Tangier you should hit its streets. To do that, we offer you a very special old town walking tour with your own private licenced guide who will lead you through the maze of Tangier.
The tour will start from your pickup location to go to Mershan, a genteel neighborhood just west of the medina full of mansions and pristine palaces. Strolling through its streets, you will discover the historical Phoenician Necropolis that dates back to the IVth and Ist century B.C.
A little bit further, you will find yourself in the Kasbah surrounded by white houses hiding a ton of secrets behind the sobriety of their facades. Several narrow and quiet streets to go from their and you will not only discover the marvelous Kasbah Mosque, but also the ancient Sultan’s palace & the Ambassador Ibn Battouta...

Stop At: Musee de la Kasbah, El Casbah Square, Tangier Morocco

This recently refurbished museum is housed in the former sultan's palace of Dar El Makhzen. The focus is on the history of the area from prehistoric times to the 19th century. Exhibits are well-presented. Work your way anticlockwise around the first courtyard before heading inside to the rest of the displays, followed by a walk in the charming Andalusian garden.
