3 Days Wadi Rum Jebel Burdah Tour

In this 3 days tour, you will have the opportunity to visit far remote places and local hidden gems along with visiting the most popular attractions and experience the Mars-like desert from three different perspectives, by jeep, camel, and hiking. Also, spending a bedouin style overnight in our desert camp where you enjoy a marvelous desert sunset, taste bedouin tea, and enjoy a traditional dinner around the campfire while listening to Bedouin stories.

Itinerary

Day 1: Full Day Jeep Tour

Stop At: Nabatean Temple, Aqaba Governorate, Jordan
an ancient temple built by the Nabateans between 9BC and 4AD dedicated to the goddess ‘Allat (Lat), It also functioned as a civic and administrative center.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Lawrence’s Spring, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan
A natural spring where you can find Thamudic inscriptions on a boulder nearby. Named after T.E Lawrence, who mentions it in his famous book, Seven Pillars of Wisdom (1926).
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Jebel Khazali, Wadi Rum Jordan
A narrow, easy to access canyon where you find on both sides Thamudic and Kufic inscriptions along with a visually impressive collection of rock art of people, feet and animals.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Khazali Dune: a soft golden dune on the side of a small mountain where you can climb to the top and enjoy a fantastic desert view.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Little Bridge, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan
A small natural arch that you can climb in less than 5 min and cross it to reach the lookout to see the desert open its arms for you.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Lawrence’s House, Jordan
A building remains built using an ancient Nabatean cistern’s stones. Locals believe that T.E Lawrence stayed here during the Arab Revolt.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Barrah Canyon: A very beautiful canyon where you have the opportunity to walk deep in the desert away from vehicles and crowded places.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Mushroom Rock, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan
A pedestal rock that naturally deformed during thousands of years by weathering and erosion which resulted in a beautiful mushroom-shaped rock.
Duration: 20 minutes

Accommodation included: Overnight in a private tent in our desert camp with a delicious traditional dinner around the campfire.

Day 2: Scrambling to the top of Burdah mountain

Stop At: Burdah Rock Bridge, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan
after breakfast, you will head to the famous Jebel Burdah to start your hiking and scrambling adventure with your Bedouin guide to the top of Burdah mountain and visit its great natural arch.

It will take approx 40 mins scrambling to reach the summit using your hands from time to time in the twisting parts of the route but don't worry your guide will be helping you along the way to make sure you stay safe and enjoy your journey.

After taking a break and enjoying the marvelous landscape from the top of Burdah's arch, you will descend from the mountain then hike for about 30 minutes to the lunch break spot
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Abu Khashaba Canyon, Jordan
After lunch, your guide will bring you to Abu Khashaba Canyon to hike across it and your guide will be waiting on the other side by car to head afterward together to Um Frouth Bridge and enjoy another natural wonder of this unique desert.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan
A 15-meter-high natural arch and one of the biggest in Wadi Rum desert, visitors can climb it easily to take unforgettable photos.
Duration: 15 minutes

Accommodation included: Overnight in a private tent in our desert camp with a delicious dinner around the camp fire.

Day 3: 3-hour camel ride to the village

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
After breakfast, be ready for your next adventure, where you will have the chance to travel like bedouin who traveled riding camels for thousands of years on this beautiful desert. The advantage of riding camels in this 2-hour journey to wadi rum village that you will fully enjoy the magnificent desert scenery and the place tranquility away from vehicles tracks and interruptions.
