At sunset in a castle for an aperitif in Parma hillside

Meeting with a private driver in Parma, late in the afternoon. Transfer to Salsomaggiore Terme by private car/minivan. A sole guided tour to discoverone of the ancient castles in Parma area, which, in 1025, was built by Adalberto Pallavicino, the progenitor of that millenary House and a daring leader.

The Castle belongs to the Pallavicinos, who still live there. Its strong walls tell its ancient knightly epics and dynastic celebrations with mythical characters. Surrounded by greenery, through its windows overlooking a breathtaking landscape, an elegant seventeenth-century loggia, unique in the area, offers a magnificent view of the hilly panorama as far as an eye can see. The private visit also includes the Castle Gardens where public visitors are usually not allowed to. At the end an aperitif to enjoy the quietness of the place. Back to Parma by car/minivan.

Castello Pallavicino is outstanding among the castles of Parma and Piacenza, since it is still owned by the family who built it in 1025. You will have the chance of an exclusive guided tour of the mansion and to enjoy a glass of local wine, together with some tasty apetizers. An unforgettable toast in front of the amazing hillside of Parma struck by the sunset light.
