Our 3 days tour to Petra and Wadi Rum from The Dead Sea allows exotic Middle Eastern landscapes an in-depth visit of the two most iconic wonders in Jordan.

After pick up from your accommodation in Eilat, you will cross the border into Jordan, and make your way to Petra along the desert highway. Petra is also known as the rose-red city, a name it gets from the wonderful color of the rock from which many of the city’s structures were carved. The Nabataeans buried their dead in intricate tombs that were cut out of the mountainsides and the city also had temples, a theater, and following the Roman annexation and later the Byzantine influence, a colonnaded street, and churches. In addition to the magnificent remains of the Nabataean city, human settlement and land use for over 10,000 years can be traced in Petra, where great natural, cultural, archaeological and geological features merge.

Itinerary

Day 1: Dead Sea pick up, border crossing & Petra

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
07:00 / 07:30 Pick up from your accommodation in Eilat and transfer to the border toward Petra in our new and fully air- conditioned vehicles. Transport time is approximately 2-3 hours, passing through a vast and comfortable deserted highway, following through a scenic route on the mountain side, and arriving at Petra's historical site, known as one of the Seven Wonders Of The World.

11:30 The tour of Petra begins at the entrance to the site.

Fully guided tour of the lost city of Petra including the Siq,Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy,Treasury and the Theater.

Enjoy horse back ride (the ride allows you to taste the unique atmosphere of the place).

18:00 Arrive in Wadi Rum, to overnight in a luxurious Bedouin camp and lounge under stars in the desert sky or watch the sun rise in the early desert morning.
