Ijen plateau or known as 'Kawah Ijen' is highly recommended to mountain buffs and hikers. The Plateau was at one time a huge active crater, 134 sq km in area. Ijen is a quiet but active volcano, and the landscape is dominated by the volcanic cones of Ijen (2,368 asl) and Merapi (2,800 asl) on the northeastern edge of the Plateau, and Raung (3,332 asl) on the southwest corner. The vent is a source of sulfur and collectors work here, making the trek up to the crater and down to the lake every day.

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from your hotel in the south Bali - drive to Gilimanuk Harbor West Bali; approximately 4 to 5 hours drives

Stop At: Gilimanuk Harbour Transport, Jl. Raya Denpasar - Gilimanuk, Gilimanuk, Kec. Melaya, Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali 82252, Indonesia
Pick up from your hotel than drive to west of Bali, Gilimanuk Harbor;

Take Ferry cross the Bali strait, Our local Transport will welcome you at Ketapang harbor

Day 2: Ijen Crater possibility to see Blue Fire

Stop At: Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi 68454 Indonesia
Walking until the submit of Ijen Crater follow the path; it will take around one and half hour to reach the submit; enjoy the the view of crater from the top; probably descendant to source of crater; but it is not recommended to go down considering the irregular wind direction blows carrying sulfur gas
