Day 1: Munnar

Pass By: Munnar Hill Station, Munnar - Top Station Hwy, Kannan Devan Hills, Kerala 685616, India
Pickup at the Cochin Airport by our representative for transfer to Munnar.

Munnar,is the most popular hill station in Kerala. It offers the grandest and most stupendous views in all of Kerala, with wooded valleys, roaring waterfalls, undulating hills and extensive mountain ranges. The extensive tea fields which line the hillside add to the splendour and beauty of an already magnificent location. Home to beautiful locations like Eravikulam National Park which is home the critically endangered Nilgiri Thar or the magnificent mountains of Chinnakannal, the destination offers unmatched sightseeing experiences. Check in to resort. Today you can stay relaxed in the resort or can go out of exploring Munnar beauty.

Stop At: Tea Gardens, Munnar 685612 India
Located in the mountains of the Western Ghats in the state of Kerala, Munnar is a hill station surrounded by some of the most scenic verdant tea plantations in India. Established in the late 19th century, the sprawling tea estates are regarded as the producers of finest quality tea and prominent hub of the tea trade in the country. Tea plantations in Munnar are situated on an undulating terrain, which appears as a thick carpet of green colour. Tea gardens have become the reasons for Munnar's international fame, and Tata Tea recently established a tea museum in the area order to provide an insight into the process that is involved behind every delicious sip of tea.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing.

Stop At: Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, Munnar India
he Eravikulam National park is famous for housing the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr. It stands out for the ravishing beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq km in the Kannan Devan hills. Anamudi, which is the highest peak south of Himalayas at a height of 2695m, stands majestically in the central area of the national park.

Stop At: Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Top Station Highway, Munnar 685616 India
Mattupetty is located 13 km away from Munnar. Here you can enjoy the greenish valleys and feel the fabulous climate around. The main attraction of Mattupetty is the dam and the lake here.

Stop At: Kannan Devan Tea Museum, Nullatani Estate, Munnar India
The country’s first ever Tea Museum located at KDHP’s Nullatanni Estate, is just a five minute drive from Munnar Town. The thousands of tourists who visit Munnar for sightseeing can carry home impressions of the distant past of this tea planting district in Idukki’s High Ranges. The aim of the Tea Museum is to depict the growth of this more-than-a-century-old tea plantation district. From the rudimentary tea roller to the present day, fully automated tea factory at Madupatty, the Tea Museum gives a first hand knowledge about tea processing and the operations that go into the making of black tea.

Day 3: Alleppey Private houseboat stay

Stop At: Alleppey Backwaters, Alappuzha India
Today you can proceed to Alleppey backwaters for an overnight stay in houseboat, cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, Kerala backwater villages; relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind & waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. Cruise till 5 in the evening after which the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day, cruising starts at 8 am). This unique experience will make you cherish your Kerala holidays.
